Will I feel the suction used with the PureWick™ Urine Collection System?
The PureWick™ Urine Collection System is designed not to be felt due to suction and is secured by your anatomy.
How often should the PureWick™ Female External Catheter be changed?
The device should be changed at least every 8-12 hours, or if soiled with feces or blood.
Can the PureWick™ Urine Collection System be used when the patient is on her side or sitting in a chair?
Yes, the PureWick™ System can be used while the patient is lying on her back or side, or when seated in a chair. Avoid placing the PureWick™ Female External Catheter under the tailbone.
